Baby Archie birthday video: Meghan and Harry’s subtle nod to UK

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’S son Archie Harrison stole the show in a delightful new video shared to mark his first birthday. The sweet clip was released in support of UK charity Save the Children and shared on the organisation’s Instagram page. In the video, which was filmed by Prince Harry, Meghan reads the children’s book “Duck! Rabbit!” with little Archie on her lap.

While the Sussexes have settled in the USA in the wake of their royal step down the video promotes their continuing ties with British charities.

The clip was taken at the family’s new home in LA and shows Meghan in a blue denim shirt, holding onto little Archie who is happily wriggling about in her lap.

Save The Children UK shared the video with a post that read: “Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex reads “Duck! Rabbit!” for Archie’s birthday

By honouring a UK charity on Archie’s first birthday Meghan and Harry have sent a strong message that they are honouring their charitable ties to the UK.

While the couple ceased to be working royals at the end of March, they intend to continue with their royal patronages and with supporting British organisations they are linked to.
